Security Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in information security and a strong understanding of IoT technologies and their security implications. As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for working with Member companies to develop, implement, and manage security strategies, including incident response, PKI systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Response
- Stay current on IoT security trends and threats to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities
- Respond to security incidents across Alliance technologies by leading the response efforts and coordinate with relevant parties to minimize the impact and quickly resolve the incident
- Regularly testing threat models and test plans to ensure they are effective
- Working with member companies to update threat models and test plans
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of Alliance standards to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities (directly or with members or with interested third parties)
- Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for staff and other stakeholders, speaking on behalf of the Alliance on Security in IoT topics
- PKI systems maintenance
- Manage Alliance process for PKI root key registration
- Work with Member companies to suggest improvements in these processes
- Assist with maintenance of Alliance PKI root key store
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Cybersecurity)
- 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on IoT security
- Experience with security incident response
- Strong understanding of IoT technologies and their security implications
- Experience in developing and implementing security strategies and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
