The Powerley Energy Bridge serves as the in-home gateway device that helps the Powerley platform bridge the smart grid and the smart home. Utilizing Powerley’s Auto-Bind technology, the Bridge wirelessly connects to the AMI meter via ZigBee Smart Energy Profile, and relays real-time energy usage through an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi to the platform’s mobile app. The Bridge also serves as a connected home hub, and when combined with the real-time energy usage, provides consumers the knowledge and tools to understand, optimize and control their home energy usage to help eliminate energy waste, save money and make life easier.
