EverPresence Wall Mount Reader (KR100)

Kastle’s EverPresence Reader Family incorporates multiple technologies to provide compatibility with the widest variety of access control credential types. Standard technologies include support for RFID cards, fobs and other physical credentials utilizing Proximity (125 kHz) and NFC Smart Cards (13.56 MHz), as well as for mobile digital credentials using NFC (Apple and Android credential support), and Bluetooth®. By building these technologies into each reader, the EverPresence Reader line allows customers to create a migration path to the latest and most secure credentials, including the ability to utilize their phone or smart device as their credential.
The EverPresence Reader line is fully OSDP™ compliant ensuring secure communications while allowing for remote serviceability. By incorporating the ability to connect via the dedicated OSDP wiring built into the EverPresence Readers, the technician can remotely configure the readers when connected to a Kastle access control system with internet connection. Remote service can include firmware upgrades as well as the ability to adjust, enable, or disable the various credential technologies. This reduces the need for an onsite visit, saving hours of travel and work time and reducing complexity as well as enabling new features. Bluetooth connection also allows the technician to connect to the reader to perform such services when onsite. Additionally, the EverPresence Reader line is compatible with legacy installs and non-Kastle PACS through the use of integrated Wiegand wiring.
