The ZigBee GSM Gateway SE is a GSM/GPRS based Smart Energy – Energy Service Interface (ESI). It connects home area (HAN) or neighborhood area (NAN) SE networks to a backend server through TCP/IP over GPRS or SMS. The ESI securely manages 40 Smart Energy devices in the local network e.g. Meters (Electricity, Gas, Water, Heat and Cooling), Load controllers, Range extenders, Displays etc.
