A certified Matter 1.4.2 platform implementation built on Zephyr RTOS that provides hardware-abstracted Matter connectivity across Nordic Semiconductor’s Matter-capable SoCs.
The SDK supports Matter-capable SoCs in the nRF52, nRF53, and nRF54L Series and offers a wide range of RAM, NVM, GPIO, and peripherals for Matter products.
The platform integrates the certified Matter 1.4.2 component through the nRF Connect SDK, supporting core Matter functionalities like Root Node device type (ID 0x0016). It supports concurrent Bluetooth LE commissioning and Thread networking, ensuring consistent Matter functionality and diagnostic capabilities across Nordic hardware.
The nRF Connect SDK offers a robust, production-ready foundation for building Matter devices. It combines certified Matter functionality with Nordic’s proven SoC portfolio and development tools.
