nRF52840 Zigbee R23

The nRF52840 Zigbee R23 platform is a combination of the nRF52840, a high-end multiprotocol System-on-Chip with Nordic’s Zigbee R23 add-on. This add-on is based on the nRF Connect SDK and integrates the DSR ZBOSS R23 Zigbee stack. It is developed according to the latest R23 Zigbee PRO specification and is designed to deliver the best cost-performance combination for Zigbee PRO and Zigbee 3.0 products.

The nRF52840 SoC is the most advanced member of the nRF52 Series SoC family. It is fully multiprotocol capable with full protocol concurrency. It has protocol support for Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee, Matter, 802.15.4, ANT and 2.4 GHz proprietary stacks. Exceptionally low energy consumption is achieved using a sophisticated on-chip adaptive power management system.

nRF Connect SDK offers developers an extensible framework for building size-optimized software for memory-constrained devices as well as powerful and complex software for more advanced devices and applications. It integrates the Zephyr RTOS and a wide range of samples, application protocols, protocol stacks, libraries and hardware drivers. For developing Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Matter and Zigbee products, the nRF Connect SDK contains all needed software, including protocol stacks.
