With REHAU Smart Privacy you can switch your window panes between transparent and opaque. In the transparent state you can see through the pane from the outside and inside as usual. When opaque, the pane is milky and therefore opaque. Within a few milliseconds you can set the desired discretion and at the same time let daylight into the room for a pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
For the different system variants, a simple rocker switch or a double rocker switch is required for operation. Depending on your needs, various configurations of the switch an the Smart Privacy window to be controlled are possible: You can either operate a single window with one switch or control multiple windows simultaneously.
Smart Privacy One can change the state of the entire window area, which means it can be switched fully opaque or fully transparent across the entire surface.
Smart Privacy Select can be switched to opaque either across the entire window area or individual segments, from top to bottom – or vice versa. For example, only the upper third of the window can remain transparent, providing nice view, while the lower area offers the desired discretion.
With Matter integration, Smart Privacy can now be seamlessly integrated into your smart home, allowing you to either automate the control or conveniently operate it remotely. This integration also enables further customization of the window pane switching states to suit your preferences.
