The Window Sensor detects and reports opening and closing of the doors and windows of your house. Easily installed on any door or window, the sensors trigger a signal when parted. This lets you know when a room is entered, if a window or door has been left open, etc.

The Window Sensor also features a built-in temperature measuring functionality that measures changes in room temperature, down to a 0.1°C interval.

The functionalities of the window sensor makes it ideal for automatic lighting, access control, and home security solutions.

Readings from the sensor can be sent via a home automation system through SMS, e-mail, or web. Thereby, you can also decrease your heating bill by increasing the awareness of the temperature and daily power consumption.

The Window Sensor operates under the ZigBee Home Automation standard, ensuring compatibility with other ZigBee Home Automation certified products. The ZigBee Home Automation Window Sensor is configured as an end-device.

A battery life average of 2 years ensures minimal maintenance.

The Window Sensor features standard ZigBee OTA upgrade capability to accommodate for potential fixes or future improvements.
