Wireless Area Controller (WAC50)

The Wireless Area Controller (WAC50) is an intelligent local controller and router that manages and controls lighting and other devices within commercial buildings. Each WAC50 communicates with light fixtures, sensors, wall switches and other wireless devices, and intelligently sets the appropriate light levels for each fixture. Through compliance with both ZigBee Building Automation and ZigBee Home Automation, the WAC50 can communicate with (and control) a wide variety of ZigBee Home Automation and ZigBee Building Automation products, creating a large-scale lighting mesh network. This data can then backhaul to a central server via standard Ethernet, which provides online access to control settings and commands.
