Sang Kim
Sang Kim has been in the wireless industry for more than 25 years. His extensive experiences include the R&D activities in CDMA, Wi-Fi, wireless networks, IoT, etc. He has held and holds various leadership positions in 3GPP2, IEEE 802.11, and Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA). He is the vice president at LG Electronics (LGE) in San Diego, CA. His main role in LGE is managing R&D activities in cellular and local area networks and multimedia technology. He was a senior member of technical staff at Hughes Network Systems in Germantown, Maryland. He received his Doctor and Master of Science degrees from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, and Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Sung Kyun Kwan University in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
