The ZigBee MEP Gateway SE is an Echelon MEP based Smart Energy – Energy Service Interface (ESI). It connects home area (HAN) or neighborhood area (NAN) SE networks to a backend server through the Echelon power line communication system. The ESI securely manages 40 Smart Energy devices in the local network e.g. Meters (Electricity, Gas, Water, Heat and Cooling), Load controllers, Range extenders, Displays etc.
