The PIC32CX5109BZ3(WBZ35x) series of low Power SoCs enable IOT (Internet of Things) wireless connectivity by IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee)(Support BLE 5.1 as well)
Users shall be able to connect and control a WBZ35x device from within a Bluetooth or IEEE 802.15.4(Zigbee) network environment. WBZ35x will support the following applications:

Up to 32KB configurable retention withn 96KB SRAM (Can be retained in backup mode)
Hardware based IEEE 802.15.4 compliant MAC and PHY support efficient Zigbee based transmission and reception
Architecture will use the FreeRTOS Operating System
Uses Microchip tool chain, MPLABx, XC32, and Harmony 3 development environment
Architecture supports Over-The-Air firmware updates via both the Zigbee or Bluetooth data transfer protocols
