Adopting ZigBee Home Automation 1.2 Standard, Door Contact DC-15ZBS monitors the opening/closing of a door or window to send alerts of potential dangers. Equipped with a built-in extension terminal, DC-15ZBS can be connected to wired devices to function as an universal transmitter. Powerful magnets allow for an overall side-to-side gap distance of 28 mm, making installation more flexible. In addition, it is tamper-proof against the opening of its enclosure and removal from its mounting surface. Powered by a lithium battery, DC-15ZBS features an extraordinary battery life of more than five years.
