EAGLE

The EAGLE��� Energy Access Gateway Link to Ethernet is a simple and affordable device that communicates directly with smart meters that have been equipped with ZigBee Smart Energy standard wireless capability. It is able to read the smart meter data, and stream the real time energy information to the home Ethernet network and on to the internet. The EAGLE��� is an open, Linux-based platform that uses non-proprietary standards, and can connect to any web-based cloud service ��� or none at all. EAGLE��� contains an internal webserver that users can access from any web-enabled device. In addition, Rainforest provides apps that allow iOS and Android devices to display real-time meter data from the EAGLE���.
