Based on the CHIP SDK, Eltako has developed its own flexible device platform. Essentially, all Eltako devices are Matter Bridges / Aggregators. Specific Interfaces / Endpoints can be de-activated and re-activated in the field by endusers. The Eltako platform will support a piggy-back adapter to bridge various Enocean devices. All Eltako devices share exactly the same firmware. Device variants are controlled with an Eltako’s internal configuration, and not by code variants, i.e. to minimize the QM test efforts internally.
So far, the platform with all device variants has been conformance tested at TÜV already.
Currently, another ATL test is planned with the Enocean piggy-back adapter installed,
subject to futher CSA certification applications in the future.
