The STM32WBA2x, which is R22 RFD compliant platform, is the most affordable STM32 wireless MCU supporting the latest protocols (Bluetooth LE, IEEE 802.15.4 communication protocols, Zigbee, and Thread). It delivers a rich feature set in a compact, energy-efficient design, ideal for cost- and energy-sensitive wireless applications.

The line offers a 64 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 CPU with TrustZone, 512 Kbytes of flash memory, 96 Kbytes of RAM, and is available in three packages: 32-pin and 48-pin UFQFPN, and 37-pin WLCSP.

It also provides pin-to-pin compatibility with the STM32WBA55Cx (UFQFPN 48 package) and STM32WBA52Kx & STM32WBA54Kx microcontrollers (UFQFPN 32 package), enabling straightforward product cost optimization across generations.

With best-in-class +10 dBm output power, support for USB full-speed, and a Q-SPI interface with on-the-fly decryption, the STM32WBA2x offers exceptional value and flexibility for a wide range of short-range wireless applications.
