AI Hub is an intelligent central gateway integrating large-scale pre-trained language models (VLM) and edge computing, focusing on local intelligence and scenario-based linkage. Its core functions are as follows:
I. Core Intelligent Capabilities
Full Frigate Compatibility: Supports all Frigate functions and works with all RTSP cameras; built-in 6T computing power enables local Frigate model deployment, no external computing needed.
Functional AI Division: AI is divided by scenario for precision. Cameras focus on single functions for efficient event interpretation, including Security Manager (monitors human presence, climbing, etc.), Care Manager (monitors phone use, eating, etc.), Pet Manager (monitors pet activities), and Custom (beta, detects subtle screen changes). More scenarios coming soon.
VLM Automated Linkage: After event reporting, matches camera function, scenario and face info to trigger preset actions (e.g., pushes alerts for strangers, turns on floor lamps when phone use is detected). Supports custom triggers via natural language.
Local AI Detection: Recognizes humans, pets, vehicles, etc., enabling linked automations; face recognition distinguishes acquaintances/strangers (e.g., alerts parents when kids return home).
II. Device Management & Storage
Home Camera Management: Manages up to 8 PTC Plus 3MP/5MP cameras; flexible storage (max. 16TB HDD, 16GB MicroSD included by default).
Multi-Protocol Gateway Compatibility: Built-in Home Assistant Core Container for native access to its Bluetooth/Wi-Fi devices; BLE support without USB dongle; connects 30 SwitchBot sub-devices to Matter ecosystem.
Local Hub Capability: Stores automation rules locally; schedules devices via LAN/Bluetooth for offline automation and local App control.

Efficient Info Processing: Auto-generates structured daily reports on functional events; AI search finds similar records via keywords.
HDMI Visual Extension: Requires separate Type-C to HDMI adapter for displaying camera events and AI analysis (add to SwitchBot App first); SwitchBot App and VLM service support all RTSP cameras.
