The temperature tag is a food safe sealed temperature measurement device the uses the Zigbee communications protocol to report ambient temperature readings periodically.

1. — One-time installation & activation —
a. 10 to 13 year battery life;
b. Press-to-fit mounting bracket;
c. Magnetic lock with LED activity/network indicator;
d. Dimensions 85 mm x 45 mm x 18 mm thick (3.3 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches).

2. — Solid state sensor —
a. Configurable Celsius or Fahrenheit;
b. Operating range -55 degrees C to 80 degrees C (-67 degrees F to 176 degrees F );
c. Numerical precision of 0.01 Degree;
d. 64 most recent readings stored in flash memory;
e. 12-bit digital sampling;
f. Accuracy — ¡À0.5 degrees C(0.9 degrees F) from 0 degrees C to 65 degrees C(32 degrees F to 149 degrees F), ¡À1.0 degrees C(1.8 degrees F) from -40 degrees C to 0 degrees C(-40 degrees F to 32 degrees F).

3. — Network Zigbee Retail Services —
a. Range: approx. 15 m to 20 m (50 ft. to 70 ft.);
b. IEEE 802.15.4 and FCC Part 15.203;
c. Frequency: 2.4 GHz ISM band. Modulation method: DSSS (O-QPSK);
d. System-on-chip with transceiver, RAM, MCU and flash.
